Entering Johnk Zoo, the Strange Saint and Miller

[Wolf Mother: I've shut down the zoo's automated defense system on the west side. You can enter the underground experimental area from there.]

Mona sent over a winding route map.

Following that route, Yu Yuan and his group soon reached the entrance to the underground experimental area beneath the zoo's Oceanarium.

Mona was already waiting there, with a security captain lying on the ground beside her.

"All the ordinary personnel in the underground experimental area have passed out. Only the department heads who received gene-modification injections retain some basic mobility, but they've essentially lost their ability to fight, too. They're all in the Genetic Modification Laboratory."

"The experimental area's isolation and lockdown protocols were activated as soon as the plague was detected. They're currently keeping the base running."

"They tried various methods to contain and treat the plague today, but none did much good. The Saint and Miller were also moved into a dedicated isolation room..."

Mona quickly briefed them on the situation.

Yu Yuan, however, looked toward the shadows in the corridor behind Mona and shook his head slightly.

"All right, Mona. If you keep talking, our Saint is going to lose his patience!"

At Yu Yuan's words, Mona and the [Jackal] Squad were startled, their gazes turning toward the passage.

"The Saint? That's impossible! I saw him enter the isolation room with Miller myself."

Despite saying that, Mona trusted Yu Yuan's judgment completely. She had already turned and assumed a fighting stance.

Clap, clap, clap—

Crisp applause rang out from deep within the passage.

"So you're the one behind Zoe. Impressive, stirring up so much trouble in Green Forest City without making a sound!"

As the voice rang out, the Saint, Jiu Feng, emerged from the depths of the passage. Behind him stood Miller, looking utterly
