Background and History

Gu Mingyuan transmigrates into the body of another boy with the same name after a Bone-Shaking Ape kills the original owner in the Star Dou Great Forest. A system grants him three initial talent draws and promises another for each Soul Ring he obtains. He keeps Otherworldly Twin Souls and Tang Sect Secrets ProMax, but immediately transfers his third draw—Yu Xiaogang’s remnant soul—to Huo Yuhao 1 2.

The original Gu Mingyuan had a bone-based Body Martial Soul and had been raised by the Holy Spirit Cult to infiltrate Shrek Academy. His watcher’s death gives the newcomer room to act independently, though the Cult later contacts him and continues to demand intelligence and recruits 2 11 32.

Gu meets Tang Ya and Bei Bei near the forest, obtains their help with his second ring, and enrolls at Shrek.
