Eight, eight, eight, eight-prosper, prosper, prosper, prosper!
One hundred and one dark figures stood solemnly on the blood-red square.
A hundred men, clad in heavy armor, wearing black helmets that covered their faces, and wielding heavy swords, exuded a chilling aura.
The leader, clad in finely crafted black armor, sat atop a fully armed, jet-black warhorse, exuding an imposing and chilling aura.
The entire square was filled with Killing Aura aura and deathly silence.
Finally, the black-armored commander on horseback slowly lowered his head, staring at the boy before him through the cold gaps in his helmet. His voice was deep, cold, and authoritative, devoid of any emotion. "You have broken the rules."
The hundred-man black-armored guard simultaneously raised their heavy swords slightly, their murderous aura instantly locking onto Ning Wen. They were just waiting for their commander's order to surround and attack.
The rules of this Slaughter City are made for the weak!
[The strong are the rule!]
Ning Wen's eyes showed no fear, only endless indifference.
rule?
As the Voice Pack says, rules only apply to the weak.
Before the black-armored commander could continue speaking, Ning Wen subtly moved.
There were no unnecessary movements, no fancy Soul Skill, and not even Martial Soul was used.
In an instant, the Asura Killing Intent erupted from Ning Wen's center with a deafening roar!
An invisible aura swept across the blood-red square!
The hundred black-armored guards who were about to surround the enemy froze instantly, their Soul Power stagnating, their blood and qi freezing, and their minds trembling with fear!
The black-armored commander on horseback had his pupils shrink, his heart pounding, and he roared fiercely, "How dare you!!"
The words had barely left his mouth.
Ning Wen casually pushed out with a single palm strike!
Puff--!
An invisible force, carrying a blood-red Killing Aura, instantly swept across the entire arena!
The thick black armor of the hundred black-armored guards cracked inch by inch, and the heavy swords in their hands hummed and trembled in unison. All of their armor shattered and crumbled instantly.
One by one, their bodies staggered backward uncontrollably, their armor scraping against the ground with a piercing screeching sound, and no one was able to maintain their balance.
The black-armored commander, seated atop his warhorse, underwent a dramatic change in expression. His horse neighed restlessly, its hooves pawing at the ground.
The black-armored commander stumbled and tumbled off his horse, crashing heavily onto the cold, blood-red ground with a dull thud as his armor clattered against the ground.
In a fleeting moment.
This hundred-man team was completely suppressed by Ning Wen with a single palm strike, and they were utterly routed.
The entire room fell silent.
Ning Wen walked calmly forward and stopped in front of the fallen black-armored commander.
He leaned down slightly, looking down at him. "Give it to me."
The three words were simple and direct, as if the process was already well-known.
The black-armored commander lay on the ground, staring intently at the boy before him through the gaps in his helmet, his eyes filled with intense surprise and confusion.
Who exactly is this boy?
How come he's so familiar with the Slaughter City?
Countless doubts surged in his heart, but his body was suppressed and the situation was hopeless; no amount of resentment or suspicion could help.
After a brief two-second silence, the black-armored commander suppressed his shock, slowly raised his hand, took out a jet-black bone-patterned token from a hidden pouch at his waist, and bowed to hand it over.
The token was cold to the touch, like bone and iron, with a hideous, twisted, blood-red skull engraved on its surface, its patterns sinister and eerie.
Below the skull, a cold, striking gilded number is engraved: 8888.
[8888, may you prosper, prosper, prosper! This is very auspicious!]
After receiving the black order, Ning Wen turned and walked towards the towering, dark city gate at the end of the road.
The massive gate was entirely black, covered with ancient and mottled blood-red patterns. The four scarlet characters "Slaughter City" hung high above the gate, their strokes ferocious and exuding a terrifying aura.
Looking at it from afar, it takes your breath away.
On either side of the city gate, two rows of black-armored warriors stood silently, their auras cold and menacing, their eyes fixed on Ning Wen.
Just as Ning Wen was about to show his black token to enter the city.
A slender, graceful figure slowly emerged from the shadows of the city gate.
The woman moved with light steps and a graceful figure. Her dark blood-red outfit accentuated her beautiful curves, and half of her face was covered by a fine black veil, revealing only a pair of captivating peach blossom eyes.
Her eyes sparkled with allure, a captivating charm tinged with a worldly-wise detachment, as she gazed silently at Ning Wen as he slowly approached.
"Young master, you have quite the skill."
A slight smile played on her lips, her voice soft and alluring, like honey stained with blood, as she slowly spoke, "Even the imperial guards couldn't stop you; it's quite an eye-opener for me."
"I entered the city with a license plate, is there a problem?"
Ning Wen did not stop walking and went straight to the front of the city gate. His expression remained indifferent, and he was not swayed in the slightest by her alluring demeanor.
"Of course, no problem. License plate number 8888 is the official entry pass; according to the rules, you should be allowed entry."
The woman in black veil leaned forward slightly, her eyes sparkling with allure. "It's true that the young master is powerful, but if he's too ostentatious, it might not be a good thing."
"Thanks for the reminder, but I've never liked hiding things." Ning Wen raised an eyebrow slightly.
Welcome to the Slaughter City.
The woman in black veil smiled, stepped aside to make way for the entrance to the city, and gestured for them to enter.
The black-armored warriors standing solemnly on both sides simultaneously parted to the sides, and the heavy, pitch-black city gate slowly opened inward, with a muffled rumble echoing outwards.
Behind the door was a narrow, deep, blood-red passage, filled with a strong, pungent stench of blood. In the distance, one could faintly hear the roars of battle, the sharp clang of metal clashing, and the dying screams of the defeated.
The true world of the Slaughter City lies behind the door.
Ning Wen said no more, holding the 8888 Black Token in his hand, and stepped into the city gate.
The woman in the black veil followed with a smile.
After passing through the deep tunnel, the view suddenly opened up.
Contrary to expectations of a horrific scene of corpses and rivers of blood, what greeted me was a strange and oppressive blue-purple world.
The streetlights lining both sides of the street flickered with only two cold lights, deep blue and dark purple, creating a dim and hazy atmosphere that enveloped the entire city in a chilling and mysterious ambiance.
To Ning Wen's slight surprise, the city was not sparsely populated, and martial artists of all kinds could be seen coming and going on the streets, with auras that were either violent, gloomy, or reserved.
Even more strangely, even though he was a complete stranger who had just arrived in this place, no one stopped to spy on him or gave him a sidelong glance.
Everyone is immersed in their own world, numb, indifferent, and listlessly rushing about.
Aside from the persistent gloom, the cold and oppressive blue-purple lights, and the lingering faint aura of bloodshed, at first glance, this place is no different from any other ordinary city.
Ning Wen clearly that beneath this seemingly calm surface lay the most extreme cruelty and slaughter.
This place is a purgatory for the weak and a hunting ground for the strong.
"Young master, I am your personal guide. Within the twelve hours of entering the city, you may ask me any questions or inquiries about the rules."
Just then, the woman in black veil spoke softly, "Within twelve hours, I will answer all your questions..."
"No need," Ning Wen interrupted her, saying directly, "Take me directly to the Hell Slaughter Arena."
