Upon hearing that answer, the girl's face instantly blossomed into a smile as bright as spring sunlight, as though the entire world had become warmer and more radiant because of it.
Yet in the next instant, her expression changed again. A crafty glint flashed through her eyes, as if she had suddenly remembered an important trump card. The air of a victor quietly emerged on her face, like a king who held some secret in her grasp, radiating unmistakable confidence and pride.
"You sound a little hesitant. You must have only thought of that afterward."
"I've been missing you for so long. Looks like I won this game."
The girl smugly made a V-for-victory gesture, her face brimming with confidence and delight, leaving him momentarily stunned.
"I don't recall competing with you in this kind of game."
Russell shot the girl a disdainful look, though the corners of his mouth were slightly raised.
"By the way, where's your sister?"
Russell then asked about the whereabouts of the other Elysia.
Normally, the two girls were inseparable. Yet he hadn't seen the larger Elysia, which was rather strange.
That question made the girl unconsciously sniffle. Her little mouth pouted so far that it looked like she could hang a soy sauce bottle from it.
"Thinking about another woman while talking to a girl is a huge taboo. I'll deduct at least ten points every time!"
She wagged a finger at him while playfully scolding him for being so absent-minded.
