Seeing Shisui Uchiha's expression change, Fugaku Uchiha knew he had guessed right. He gave a cold snort and dropped an even heavier revelation:

"If you still hold out any hope for the Konoha Leadership, for Shimura Danzō, or even for the Third Hokage, then let me tell you this."

"Shimura Danzō conspired with that masked man. They're after your life—or rather, your eyes! Shisui, after all this, are you still going to be naive?"

He rose and looked down at the pale-faced Shisui, delivering his final ultimatum:

"Think carefully, Shisui! Will you stand with a village that has long seen us as a thorn in its side and is even willing to collude with an outside enemy? Or will you stand with the clan that raised you, the people who share your blood?"
