Buntan Kurosuki wore the twin Thunder Swords: Kiba crossed over her back, their blades marked with lightning patterns.
She leaped lightly into the arena and faced Damian, her gaze sharp as tiny arcs of electricity crackled around her. "Buntan Kurosuki of Kirigakure. Let's begin."
There was no more talk. The fight erupted!
Buntan drew both Thunder Swords: Kiba at once and crossed them. Blinding lightning burst from the blades. "Lightning Release: Thunder Fang!"
Two raging serpents of lightning shot from the sword tips, crossing as they hurtled toward Damian!
Damian's eyes narrowed. Instead of drawing his sword, he drove off the ground!
"Thunder Breathing, First Form: Thunderclap and Flash!"
His figure seemed to turn into a jagged streak of yellow lightning. Moving almost too fast to see, he dodged the crossing bolts at the last instant, then traced a Z-shaped path and closed in on Buntan!
"So fast!" Boruto blurted from the viewing platform.
Even the usually composed Mikoto Misaka widened her eyes slightly. She could clearly "feel" just how violent the electromagnetic acceleration behind Damian's sudden burst had been.
Buntan was startled too, but she reacted instantly, whirling both blades to turn defense into attack. "Lightning Release: Falling Thunder!"
The Thunder Swords: Kiba called down several lightning strikes along Damian's path.
Damian did not slow. His figure darted and veered through the gaps in the lightning.
"Thunder Breathing, Fourth Form: Distant Thunder!" His speeding figure trailed lingering lightning, making it seem as though he were attacking from several directions at once.
Then came "Third Form: Gathering Mosquitoes into Thunder!" Countless fine needles of lightning stabbed toward gaps in Buntan's defenses from every tricky angle.
