"Huh? It disappeared?" Boruto froze too, scratching his head. "So throwing it doesn't work? Oh well. As long as I can use it up close!"

He quickly put that "little flaw" out of his mind and waved cheerfully at Konohamaru.

"Thanks for teaching me, Konohamaru! I'm off to show Mr. Sasuke what I've learned!"

Without waiting for a reply, he raced out of the Training Ground like a gust of wind.

Konohamaru stood where he was, looking in the direction Boruto had gone. Then he turned toward the large tree.

He walked over to inspect it. Right along the extended path the small Rasengan had taken, a remarkably neat spiral indentation had appeared in the thick trunk, as though an invisible drill had brushed against it.

"The Rasengan disappeared after he threw it, but it still packed a punch?"

Konohamaru ran his fingers over the spiral mark, his brow furrowed in thought.

"Is this a flaw caused by poor Chakra control, or some unexpected trait? Could there be something about that kid's Chakra...?"

Meanwhile, beside a waterfall outside Konoha...

The rushing river formed a small waterfall there. Water crashed against the rocks below with a constant roar, filling the air with mist.

Sasuke had chosen this training spot because it was secluded and well suited to practicing Lightning Release Ninjutsu.

Sasuke and Sarada stood facing each other.

"Watch closely." Sasuke let his left hand hang at his side and held his right palm upward. A piercing sound, like a thousand birds crying at once, suddenly rang out! Dazzling silver-white lightning gathered and flickered wildly in his palm, illuminating his stern profile and calm, dark eyes.

The next instant, he leaned forward slightly and swept his lightning-wreathed hand toward the roaring waterfall beside him, as casually as if he were waving
