The background music, "Together in Life and Death," began to play. Its mournful singing washed over heaven and earth: Waiting in anguish for your return, until time shattered and mountains and rivers turned to ash.
The scene slowly unfolded across the Light Screen.
On a desolate ancient battlefield, the white-haired, armored Tobirama Senju stood silently.
In the distance.
The short-haired Kagami Uchiha stood motionless in a black robe, his Mangekyō Sharingan gleaming a cold red beneath the dim sky.
Tobirama Senju's voice grew heavy. "Kagami, do you understand what you're doing right now?"
Kagami Uchiha bowed slightly. His tone was respectful, but he refused to yield an inch. "Master, I do."
"I told you, you won't get past me."
Tobirama Senju's brows knitted tightly. "Why did you join the Shadow Village?"
"Master, I didn't join the Shadow Village."
Kagami Uchiha shook his head gently. "My older brothers and I built the Shadow Village ourselves."
"My eldest brother entrusted me with stopping you. I can't let you pass."
A hint of urgency crept into Tobirama Senju's voice. "I have my own position to uphold."
"Monkey has already told me about all the foolish things Danzo did. Konoha truly owes your Uchiha clan."
"As his teacher, I also bear responsibility for Danzo's crimes."
"But this isn't the time to dwell on old grudges! Do you know what your eldest brother intends to do?"
"I understand what my eldest brother has in mind."
Kagami Uchiha spoke calmly. "And I have never hated Danzo."
"Everyone has a path they wish to pursue. I don't remain by my eldest brother's side simply because of what Konoha and Danzo did to the Uchiha."
"After everything we've been
