On the outer perimeter stood the Shrine Guard and local constables, who had rushed over on orders but dared not act rashly.
Armed with loaded weapons, they formed line after line of human barriers, staring grimly up the mountain with cold sweat covering their foreheads.
Their task was to seal off the scene, but they knew even better that the man up there was someone they absolutely could not afford to provoke.
"Captain, are we really going to do nothing? Just watch that Dragon Kingdom man humiliate His Majesty?"
A young guard gritted his teeth and asked the officer beside him, his face full of indignation.
The Guard Commander was a middle-aged man in his forties, his expression as dark as a thundercloud.

Flashes fired furiously as though they cost nothing, while the endless clatter of shutters made the place as noisy
