The Old Lord?
Yet another name straight out of myth and legend.
Yue Xiaofei felt as though his brain could barely keep up anymore.
He had taken in far too much information tonight.
So much that it had completely surpassed everything he had previously understood.
Yue Xiaofei was just about to ask what exactly these "Kunlun Ruins" and the "Old Lord" were all about.
But Ye Jincheng and Yue Changlong, as though they had planned it, simultaneously gave him a look that said, "Children shouldn't ask so many questions."
Fine. Apparently, this was another top-level secret I wasn't cleared to know.
Yue Xiaofei pursed his lips helplessly and could only suppress his burning curiosity for now.
"Seven days?"
Ye Jincheng's brow furrowed even more deeply when he heard Yue Changlong's answer.
"What can you possibly do in seven days?"
"Do you have any idea how much trouble you've stirred up tonight?!"

Ye Jincheng's voice was full of reproach.
Yet deep in his eyes lay a trace of excitement and anticipation that even he hadn't noticed.

Yue Changlong gave the same answer as before, calm and casual, yet utterly commanding.
