Background / History

Feng Yang discovered Xiao Wu's identity as a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beast and used that knowledge to coerce her into complying with him. Fear of being exposed to the wider Soul Master world prevented her from openly resisting him. 6

During the Star Dou Great Forest expedition, Xiao Wu demonstrated her connection to Er Ming, the Titan Giant Ape. She used the creature to pursue Feng Yang, then called off the pursuit and used the opportunity to complete her Third Soul Ring. She later fabricated a cover story for the Shrek group, claiming that the Titan Giant Ape had captured and abandoned both her and Feng Yang. 19 23

Her relationship with Tang San deteriorated after his Soul Ring absorption was interrupted while he witnessed her with Feng Yang. Though Xiao Wu initially felt guilty over Tang San receiving an eight-year white Third Soul Ring, his insults and demands turned that guilt into hostility. Their conflict escalated into a full fight, in which Xiao Wu defeated him with Teleportation and Waist Bow combinations. 24 26 28

When Feng Yang prepared to leave Shrek Academy, Xiao Wu insisted on accompanying him and asked to become his disciple. He accepted her, after which she received the Self-Created Soul Skill Dragon's Tail Sweep. 33 34

Tang Hao later attempted to take Xiao Wu away because of her soul-beast identity. Terrified by the Title Douluo's presence, Xiao Wu stood behind Feng Yang, who refused to surrender his disciple and shielded her during the confrontation. 41 42
