Feng Yang established his authority at Shrek Academy, gathered disciples, and guided them through a trip to the Star Dou Great Forest. The trip ended with Tang San’s ruined third Soul Ring and a growing rift between him and Xiao Wu.

• Flender hired Feng Yang as an instructor, and Zhu Zhuqing became his first disciple after he invited her, Xiao Wu, and Ning Rongrong to join him.
• Feng Yang defeated Dai Mubai after Dai Mubai challenged him, then made him apologize to Ning Rongrong, who became Feng Yang’s disciple.
• Feng Yang exposed Xiao Wu’s identity as a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beast and coerced her, then ordered Tang San and Xiao Wu to clean the academy’s restrooms.
• Feng Yang defeated the students who attacked him together, and Ning Rongrong and Zhu Zhuqing later beat Tang San and Xiao Wu in the arena using their Inscribed Soul Skills.
• Meng Yiran became Feng Yang’s disciple, while Oscar and Meng Yiran both sought soul rings in the Star Dou Great Forest, and Oscar eventually absorbed the Phoenix-tail Crested Serpent’s ring.
• The Titan Giant Ape carried Xiao Wu away, and Feng Yang escaped, and he later helped Meng Yiran kill a Man Faced Demon Spider, whose ring gave her the Eight Spider Lance Bone.
• Tang San saw Feng Yang with Xiao Wu while absorbing a soul ring, lost concentration, and ended up with an eight-year-old Third Soul Ring and no Soul Skill.
• After returning to Shrek Academy, Feng Yang rejected Master Yu Xiaogang’s offer to take him as a disciple, while Xiao Wu’s attempt to explain herself left Tang San fearing she might leave him.

After Tang San and Xiao Wu’s conflict drives Xiao Wu, Ning Rongrong, and Zhu Zhuqing away from Shrek, Feng Yang trains them and leads them into victories at the Great Soul Arena. He accepts Ye Lingling as a disciple in Heaven Dou City, while Dugu Bo demands an explanation for his rejection of Dugu Yan.

• Tang San and Xiao Wu fought after he blamed her for his weak third Soul Ring, and Xiao Wu defeated him in front of their classmates.
• Shrek’s Seven Devils won their match against the Berserker Team, and Feng Yang drove off their teacher with his Blue Flame.
• Ning Rongrong and Zhu Zhuqing refused Yu Xiaogang’s instruction and chose to leave Shrek with Feng Yang, while Xiao Wu also asked to become his disciple.
• Feng Yang took Xiao Wu, Ning Rongrong, and Zhu Zhuqing to the Great Soul Arena, where they defeated the Imperial Dou Team with Meng Yiran’s help.
• Tang Hao demanded that Feng Yang hand over Xiao Wu, but Feng Yang escaped with her and later retaliated against Tang San at Shrek Academy.
• Feng Yang accepted Ye Lingling as his disciple in Heaven Dou City, gained a level and a Ten Thousand Year External Leg Soul Bone, and gave her the Star Infusion skill.
• Dugu Yan told Dugu Bo that she and Yu Tianheng had broken up, and Dugu Bo went with her to Ye Lingling’s castle to confront Feng Yang.
• Feng Yang defeated Ao Si Yan and told Dugu Bo that Dugu Yan’s poison harmed her and others, leaving Dugu Yan to ask whether his claim was true.

Feng Yang expanded his circle of disciples, crushed the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan’s challenge, and led his team into the Pan-Continental Soul Master Competition. The Guardian Team advanced through its early matches as Feng Yang’s disciples competed for his attention.

• Dugu Bo led Feng Yang to the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, where Feng Yang claimed its immortal herbs and agreed to accept Dugu Yan as his disciple in return for Dugu Bo protecting his students.
• Feng Yang accepted Dugu Yan, gained power and soul bones, and helped her and the other girls develop their Inscription Skills before they won a team match at the Soul Fighting Arena.
• At Heaven Dou Royal Academy, Tang San’s team mocked Feng Yang’s students, but the Guardian Team defeated them in the arena and Feng Yang revealed his Soul Saint strength to Flender and Liu Erlong.
• Feng Yang defeated Flender, Liu Erlong, and the Golden Sacred Dragon, then forced Liu Erlong to become his maid and killed Yu Dawei while Zhu Zhuqing killed Yu Tianheng.
• Feng Yang accepted Huo Wu and Liu Erlong as disciples, gained further power, and turned away Yu Xiaogang when he asked Liu Erlong for a teaching position.
• Yu Yuanzhen challenged Feng Yang at his castle, but Feng Yang fought him to a standstill and his Blue Flame Elements killed two clan Soul Saints before Yu Yuanzhen withdrew.
• The Pan-Continental Soul Master Competition began, and Xiao Wu defeated the entire Bloody Team alone before Meng Yiran also beat seven opponents in her preliminary match.
• Zhu Zhuqing asked to fight alone in the next round, then agreed to let Ning Rongrong join her after the others warned that the teams were stronger.

Feng Yang’s disciples dominated the tournament as he accepted new students and grew closer to several of his girls. On the journey to Spirit City, Spirit Hall and the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan ambushed the convoy, but Feng Yang annihilated their forces and continued onward with his disciples.

• Zhu Zhuqing defeated Heaven Dou Royal Second Team alone after Ning Rongrong used Whimsical Ideas to turn the match in her favor, and Feng Yang later accepted Ning Rongrong’s confession and agreed to date her.
• Feng Yang killed Shi Nian and gave Ning Rongrong the resulting Head Soul Bone, then accepted Shui Bing’er and the other Skywater Academy girls as disciples after his team defeated them.
• The Guardian Team finished the Preliminary Tournament undefeated, and Feng Yang earned an earl title while Ning Rongrong publicly kissed him and the girls crowded around him for affection.
• Feng Yang visited Moonlight Pavilion with Xue Qinghe, while Meng Yiran affirmed that she loved him and Huo Wu began a secret relationship with him.
• Xiao Wu defeated Tang San by reflecting the force of his Clear Sky Hammer with Super Rebound, and Zhu Zhuqing beat Dai Mubai as the Guardian Team advanced.
• On the way to Spirit City, Yu Yuanzhen and Spirit Hall forces ambushed Feng Yang and his disciples, but Feng Yang revealed nine million-year soul rings and killed Yu Yuanzhen and the attacking clan forces.
• Feng Yang trapped and slaughtered most of the Spirit Hall army with his Blue Flame Fire Wall, while Chrysanthemum Douluo and Ghost Douluo escaped badly burned.
• Feng Yang’s companions regrouped with him and continued toward Spirit City, while Xue Qinghe arranged a rest at Yun Shen River and Tang San vowed to defeat Feng Yang someday.
