Resonance of the Three Mother Boxes!

High above the battlefield, Link ended his "sweet chat" with Harley and turned his attention back to the fight.

Kalibak was still trapped in place by Link's Time Law, struggling against himself like a clown. Steppenwolf, the general of Apokolips, had grown unusually grim. He had clearly heard Cyborg's report over the global broadcast.

"Energy sources... Resonance..."

For the first time, Steppenwolf's wrinkled, ugly face showed a mix of greed, longing, and fervor. He ignored Link's taunts and closed his eyes. His massive body hung motionless in the air, like an ancient statue.

He was... sensing.

"Oh? Smelled a bone, have you?" Link raised an eyebrow. He looks exactly like the husky downstairs when it sees a meat bun.

He did not interrupt. He was curious, too: what had the forces of Apokolips gone to such lengths to invade Earth for?

The next second, an invisible pulse crossed space and dimensions, bursting outward from Earth.

It came from the three energy points Cyborg had detected.
