It was Link's gift to Harley Quinn: a planet remade entirely to match her dreams.
The whole Planets was one enormous amusement park that never closed.
Its mountains were giant chocolate bars, its rivers ran with strawberry soda, and its clouds were cotton candy close enough to touch. Roller-coaster tracks stretched across the continent, and the carousel carried Unicorns that breathed rainbow fire instead of wooden horses.
Thousands of "visitors" created by the Reality Stones wore dazzling smiles as they lined up for every ride, cheering and screaming at just the right moments.
At first, Harley had been beside herself with excitement.
Dressed in the most extravagant interstellar princess gown and carrying a Baseball Bat studded with Diamonds, she ran wild across the Planets. She could ride the drop tower a thousand times a day, eat a mountain of ice cream, and splatter every "visitor" with a paint gun.
But soon, she grew bored.
It was a boredom deeper than her bones, unlike anything she had ever felt.
Today, on a whim, she decided to make things a little more "exciting." She secretly removed every prop meant to frighten people in the Haunted House and replaced them with the Joker Venom Bombs she had brought from Gotham.
She hid in the control room, rubbing her hands together in anticipation as she waited for the visitors to scream in terror.
The first group of "visitors" went in.
The bombs exploded, and thick green laughing gas filled the entire haunted house.
But the panic and screams she had expected never came.
After breathing in the gas, the visitors only laughed more happily. They emerged from the haunted house wearing identical smiles, so blissful they were unsettling, and gave the control room a chorus of thumbs-up.
