A few minutes later, she finally got up, reluctantly.

Lin Mo got out of bed too, washed up, and changed clothes. Through it all, one question kept nagging at him.

Why did he still need to sleep?

Strictly speaking, with his Kryptonian physique, sunlight could take care of most of his body's recovery needs.

Sleep was more of a habit now, a way to rest his mind.

But if he spent every night sleeping like this...

Lin Mo stole a glance at Joanna. Maybe he should sleep less from now on, before something really did happen.

As luck would have it, Joanna was fixing her hair and caught his look in the mirror.

Caught. Lin Mo silently looked away, but Joanna spoke up before he could escape.

"Why are you looking at me?"

"No reason."

Lin Mo shook his head.

"I just thought I could go out and bask in the moonlight at night from now on."

Joanna: "?"

"What would you do that for?"

"Some peace and quiet."

Joanna narrowed her eyes. She had a strange feeling that was aimed at her, though she had no proof.

The two grabbed a quick bite, then headed toward the school building together.

They hadn't even reached it when the crowd of students began to thicken. Lin Mo soon noticed something, though.

The atmosphere felt different today. Why did people keep sneaking looks at them?

Had they been set up for some corporate publicity stunt?

Lin Mo grew more exasperated as they walked. Who could stand being stared at like a zoo exhibit?

Maybe "sneaking looks" wasn't quite right, but people were definitely watching them more often than usual.

They got plenty of attention already. After all, he and Joanna had become celebrities on campus over the past few days.

Today,
