Background and History

Maeve is already a prominent sophomore when Lin Mo and Joanna arrive at Godolkin. She notices Vought staff acting afraid of the newcomers and senses danger from Lin Mo despite his harmless appearance 57 62. Vought later assigns her to address online rumors targeting the pair. Her investigation leads from student accounts and altered records to suspicious departures from the university and the involvement of its dean, Doug 74 77 81.

Maeve asks Lin Mo and Joanna for help because she doubts she can investigate someone with Doug’s influence safely on her own 81 82.
