Background / History

Gu Yinxing initially considers marrying Chen Shiwen, a university graduate employed by the Land Bureau. After her niece Gu Yousi’s thoughts alert her to his wife and child in Yunnan, the Gu family investigates. Yinxing rejects Chen; when he tries to force a kiss at her hospital, Yan Ren intervenes. The match ends after Chen’s deception is exposed 1 3 4.

She later agrees to meet department-store employee Zhao Donglai but dislikes his arrogance and disregard for her wishes. She ends the relationship when he sides with Song Mei during a public argument.
