Just then, Mo Hei entered the space where Mo Bai stood.

"Looks like dealing with that big fish was easy?"

As Mo Hei spoke, he took shape beside Mo Bai.

Thanks to his unusual nature and the "whitelist" Mo Bai had given him, he didn't have to spend his days sleeping in the shadows like other Shikigami.

"That thing might be called a Threnodian, but it was really just an offshoot of Leviathan itself, wasn't it?"

"But was it worth opening your domain just to deal with something like that? There's still a Society Overseer from the Remnant Star Society outside."

Even without summoning it, merely looking at the cocoon that bound it made him uneasy.

Threnodians differed in their abilities, but their roots were the same.

As beings that destroyed civilizations, destruction was always their ultimate goal.

Other countries might have Threnodians more "humanlike" than Leviathan.

their instincts as Threnodians would likely drive them to destroy the local civilization in the end.
