"Huh?"
Mo Hei looked utterly confused by Mo Bai's sudden question.
It had nothing to do with what they had just been talking about.
Hadn't Mo Bai said he would listen to Mo Hei's troubles? Why had he suddenly changed the subject to movies?
And why had Mo Bai just said his own name...?
Questions flooded Mo Hei's mind.
But when he turned, he saw the serious look on Mo Bai's face.
He couldn't understand why Mo Bai cared so much about his answer.
Seeing the insistence in Mo Bai's eyes, Mo Hei glanced at "THE END" on the screen.
Then he thought back over all the movies he had seen.
"Movies... You've shown me a lot of them, but I think my favorite is still the classic kind."
Mo Hei spoke as he searched his memory.
"The protagonist grows stronger while gathering allies, then defeats the Demon King and settles down. That ordinary kind of road-movie plot," Mo Hei answered.
Mo Bai had shown him many movies, each with a different plot.
Some were classics, others unconventional. Some were moving, others dull; some were bizarre, others simple.
The movies differed not only in style but also in the stories they told.
To Mo Hei, it had felt less like an invitation to watch movies and more like an attempt to learn about him.
The man beside him had deliberately switched between styles, as though trying to discover what sort of movies he liked.
Even so, Mo Hei was grateful.
Mo Bai had shown him so many movies and introduced him to so many interesting stories.
Perhaps because he had lost his memory, every different movie had felt entirely new to him.
"The classic kind, huh... That's a little surprising."
Mo Bai raised an eyebrow at his answer.
"Mm. The
