"You..."
Hearing Mo Hei speak so plainly, Dania felt dazed again.
She never would have imagined that the timid new student she had once met by chance at the Academy would grow into someone so mature.
What surprised Dania even more was that their first meeting had been part of a carefully arranged plan.
At first, they had been watcher and prey.

Dania remembered what the Remnant Star Society's president had told her about Jujutsu Sorcerers when they had shared intelligence with her.
Mo Hei might not have been as strong as Mo Bai, but he was a Jujutsu Sorcerer through and through.
Judging whether someone was lying from their emotional fluctuations was easy for him.
To him, all the possibilities Dania had just raised amounted to little more than empty words.
"Tell me your story. There's no enemy in front of you now. Just a friend."
"Baa~"
After Mo Hei spoke, the Aries Shikigami beside him gave a soft bleat, as if encouraging Dania too.
Dania froze for a moment at his words. Then memories flashed through her mind.
They were memories of her life at the Academy.
No painful experiments or training. Just the easygoing days that should have belonged
