"Whew~ I'm so full..."
After eating every last bit of the watermelon, Lingmeng rubbed her stomach, looking satisfied but a little sluggish.
"I guess not every Spirit has a bottomless stomach... If it were Tohka, this whole watermelon wouldn't even be enough to fill the gaps between her teeth, would it?"
After all, a whole watermelon really was a bit much for her.
But Shido and the others wouldn't eat any. To avoid wasting it, Lingmeng had been forced to stuff herself with the whole thing.
She was now standing at the sink in the beach restroom.
Eating the watermelon had left some juice on her face. It felt sticky, so she needed to wash it off.
Bending over, Lingmeng turned on the faucet, cupped some water in her hands, and brought her face down to give it a quick wash.
Only once the stickiness was completely gone did she turn off the faucet.
She shook her head and lightly flicked her hands, trying to shake the water off herself.
"Phew~ That's much better."
Letting out a soft sigh of relief, Lingmeng turned to leave the restroom.
She had only taken a few steps when she saw Shido heading her way, looking utterly exhausted.
"Hey~ Shido, what brings you here?"
Lingmeng waved at Shido and greeted him with a smile.
He had clearly noticed her too, but merely scratched his cheek as he answered.
"Well... I came to wash my face and wake
