The Angel and the Light Sword threw off scattered sparks, and the clang of metal rang out.
"My, my, is that all? Aside from the Element Maker, you're the Spirit with the strongest overall combat ability."
Ellen spoke as casually as could be.
Tohka frowned. But she couldn't give up this chance to attack.
She hurriedly drew Sandalphon back and retreated a step, then launched another fierce assault on Ellen.
The result was the same as before. Ellen blocked every strike with ease.
Tohka hadn't damaged the Realizer. She hadn't even touched a hair on Ellen's head.
"Ugh..."
Tohka let out a strained groan.
The gap between their abilities was simply too wide. Forget her current sealed state—even with her full Astral Dress, she might not have made much of an impact.
Behind her, Shido broke out in a cold sweat.
Even he could see that Tohka was no match for Ellen.
He wanted to help, but aside from Kotori's Healing Flame, he had no ability he could use in a fight.
Ellen, meanwhile, seemed to have grown tired of Tohka's attacks, which were little more than a drizzle to her.
She sighed softly and said in a bored voice,
"What a disappointment. I even went to the trouble of bringing Pendragon to face you. Looks like I needn't have bothered."
As she spoke, the boredom vanished from her eyes, replaced by a sharp gaze.
"Then there's no point dragging this out. I'll finish you in three seconds and go find the Element Maker and the others.
"Compared to you, she's the one who really gets me excited."
"You're going after Lingmeng too!?"
As if provoked, Tohka charged at Ellen once more.
But this time was different. Ellen had gotten serious.
The instant Sandalphon met Ellen's Light Sword again—
"Huh—?"
