Mana blocked Jessica's attack with the sword in her hand, then aimed the cannon she had readied in her left hand straight at Jessica's abdomen.
A powerful beam of magical energy immediately erupted from the muzzle, landing a solid hit on Jessica's abdomen.

With a brief, muffled groan, Jessica lost consciousness from the intense pain.
Her territory dissipated along with it, and the Realizer she wore disconnected, sending her plummeting toward the ground.
