They were supposed to be arrogant and aloof, typical elitists in everything they did. They cared little for other people's feelings or opinions, and disliked explaining their reasons even more.
Most Sun Elves were also handsome men and beautiful women. Their average height was slightly shorter than that of humans, but the difference in their appearance was unmistakable.
Yet the Sun Elf who had come to apply was nothing like a traditional Sun Elf.
Barrel Moonflower stood less than 165 centimeters tall, with bronze skin and long black hair. Normally, among the predominantly beautiful Sun Elves, even an average-looking one would have been above average in human society. Yet this particular Sun Elf was short and fat. His long black hair did not look graceful at all; instead, it seemed heavy and greasy.
His fleshy face featured a large nose and a double chin, with a ring of fat around his neck. He had the unmistakable build of an overweight shut-in. If anything about this Sun Elf fellow was special, though, it was his lively eyes, suffused with a clear green glow that rippled like water.
