Aaron, Drizzt, and Nastya walked beneath a warped crimson sky.

Everything they saw along the way twisted and changed. Sometimes it was a bright red ocean, sometimes a deep blue forest, sometimes a purple plain, sometimes a green desert.

Whenever they traveled a little farther, the scenery changed, and so did the monsters they encountered. Before an emplacement of bloodthirsty hounds and enormous Skull Cannons stood an entire legion of Slaanesh chariots. Slaanesh Daemonettes whipping twisted beasts formed another legion, while swarms of Tzeentch sky-sharks and Nurgle plague wasps swept overhead.

Yet they had fought very few battles along the way.

It was all thanks to Aaron's power. Whenever the Child of Chaos raised his Chaos Holy Symbol, the lesser Chaos Daemons bowed their heads to him and cleared a path for them.

Even the well-traveled Drizzt had never witnessed anything so strange. The Dark Elf Ranger watched their surroundings warily. "I've heard your name from others many times, Aaron Salian. I didn't believe you could defeat a Quasi-Deity before, but now I think my doubts have been answered."
