The Burning Chariot of Tzeentch broke apart in midair. Having exhausted all its power, the Nine-Headed Flying Shark disintegrated into ash. Once the three had landed, Drizzt and Nastya looked anxiously at Aaron. The dark-skinned Drow drew his twin blades. "Are you all right, Aaron Salian?"
"I'm fine. I just used a little extra magic." Aaron's face looked perfectly calm, but the Child of Chaos felt anything but.
Made in Heaven had overdrawn his Tzeentch divine spark. For the time being, Aaron could no longer transform into a Lord of Change.
His other powers were unaffected, however, and Aaron still retained most of his fighting strength.
The roars of Chaos Daemons echoed across the continent. As Aaron gazed into the distance, he spotted their approaching enemies.
The Dark Sun's holy symbol had replaced that of Chaos, looming over the continent. Groups of Chaos Daemons emerged from the ruined buildings. Without exception, their eyes had turned entirely black, just like those of the Cyric Avatar.
The first group approaching was a unit of Khorne Bloodletters. These crimson daemons with elongated skulls and hellish magic swords were deadly warriors. In battle legends sealed away in antiquity, ancient tribes that worshipped Khorne would attract these Bloodletters when the fighting reached its fiercest. Furious and thirsting for blood, the Bloodletters fought like Khorne himself descended upon the world, shrieking whenever they claimed a head or drank deep of blood.
When these emissaries of the Blood God roared incessantly across a battlefield, even the bravest, most steadfast warriors felt fear.
The second group approaching was a unit of Forsaken of Tzeentch. These wretches were undoubtedly playthings of the Lord of Change. Through false promises and despicable lies, Tzeentch had deceived his foolish followers,
