Along the way, Be'lakor had been attacked by Dorn, Primarch of the Imperial Fists, and gravely wounded before being rescued by Malcanthet, the Demon Queen of Succubi. Needing somewhere to recover, Be'lakor had handed Abdel over to an archmage named Irenicus, collaborating with him to unravel the secrets of the Godspawn of Baal's bloodline.
