A murder with both culprit and evidence caught at the scene erupted in the heart of Waukeen's Promenade in Amn.

News that Aaron Salian had killed someone sent an uproar through the promenade.

Aaron Salian, the Lady of Silver's Chosen, the hero hailed as the Savior of Baldur's Gate and one of the Arabel Five Heroes, had actually killed someone? And been caught red-handed?
Everyone's attention immediately shifted to the center of the promenade. Some merchants were already imagining new business opportunities.
The Grand Justiciar's death did not matter. Aaron committing murder did not matter either. But the diplomatic dispute it could spark between Cormyr and Amn, and the conflict it could ignite between the Church of Selûne and the Church of Helm-those mattered very much indeed!

The guard's screams soon drew others over. Helmite guards in full heavy armor arrived en masse and surrounded Aaron's group. The God of Guardians' watchmen never played favorites. Despite their church's cooperation with Aaron, they appeared without hesitation and demanded that he submit to an investigation.
The Cowled Wizards arrived next.
