"I..." Aaron and Eilistraee stood beneath a large glowing mushroom in the abandoned city, both deities holding their hands behind their backs as they discussed matters.
A little farther away, Nastya, Viconia, and Big Dragon Aegir were chatting together.
Aegir held a heaping platter of beetles and mushroom dishes. Big Dragon wolfed down the delicacies she had extorted from that fat dragon, gripping a half-cooked subterranean fish by its tail with her dragon claw and stuffing it straight into her mouth. Her cheeks bulged. "Nastya, and you, whoever you are, aren't you eating? It's delicious!"
"My name is Viconia." The white-haired, black-skinned Drow covered her face. "This is the fourth time I've introduced myself, Lady Aegir."
"Hey, you elves all have names that are hard to remember!" Aegir was utterly unconcerned. "They're all some kind of -ya or -el or -fi. Besides, you're so dark that I keep overlooking you."
"May I take that as a compliment?" Viconia smiled as she gripped her sword's hilt. "I suppose that's the only way I can take it. You're very powerful, Lady Aegir, and I'm not confident I could defeat you."
What Viconia meant was that if Aegir hadn't been a Legendary Force Dragon empowered by Aaron, she would have already cut down anyone who dared insult her like that.
"Oh, really?" Aegir swallowed the fish in a few bites, then started on the beetle dishes on her platter. At first, Big Dragon made a show of removing their shells, but soon grew annoyed and simply ate them whole, shells and all. Crunching sounds came from her mouth. "Tastes like chicken, nice and crunchy, with five times the protein! Oh yeah~"
"We don't have an appetite like yours, Aegir." Nastya's attention had clearly remained on Eilistraee and Aaron all along. Dark Elf Sister
