One deity of the lowest quasi-deity rank and two beings with quasi-divine power each struck a proud pose, proclaiming their strength and masculine beauty, announcing their arrival to the armies surrounding the city.

As mentioned before, Malkizid had once been the Solar Corellon assigned to Araushnee. Malkizid had always been utterly faithful and sincere. To his mind, since Corellon had given him to his mistress, he ought to obey her commands.
Thus, during Araushnee's betrayal, Malkizid had been forced into the assassination plot and war against Corellon. Yet Malkizid believed he had done nothing wrong. He firmly believed Corellon would forgive him.
In the end, Araushnee, who had committed the greatest wrong, received the lightest punishment. Malkizid, merely a coerced accomplice, was not only cast into Hell but subjected to the cruelest condemnation a good god could devise.
