"Finally, we're here."
Looking at the Capital of the Land of Fire, Tsunade let out a long breath. At last, she could get some rest.
A few more days of this, and she felt she would have had to release her Yin Seal.
"You're the Ninja from Konoha, right?"
They had only just reached the city gate when two Samurai stopped their carriage.
"That's right."
"This is Lord Naruto Uzumaki, and this is Lady Tsunade."
"We've come to discuss the succession of the Hokage with the daimyo."
Shizune explained.
"Understood. Follow me."
One of the Samurai nodded, then led them to a shabby little inn tucked away in an alley.
"The daimyo arranged for you to stay here. You can live here during your time in the Capital."
"He'll summon you when he has time."
With an arrogant look, the Samurai gave his brief explanation and turned to leave.
"Hmph!"
"Those people have no manners."
Once the Samurai was gone, Shizune could not help grumbling.
The Capital of the Land of Fire was the most prosperous place in the entire Shinobi World.
It was even more bustling than Konoha.
And yet,
the daimyo had put them in a rundown inn in such an out-of-the-way spot. He was clearly making things difficult for them on purpose.
"Naruto, should we take a look at the rooms first?"
Tsunade did not say much about it.
As a Ninja,
she had endured far harsher conditions.
As for where she slept... she was not particular.
"What's there to look at?"
"We don't get to visit the Capital often. I'll show you around."
With that, Naruto Uzumaki took Tsunade and Shizune away.
