Hiruzen Sarutobi spoke each word with deliberate care.

Shimura Danzō tossed out those words and stormed off.

Watching him leave, Hiruzen Sarutobi took an unconcerned sip of tea.

Hinata snapped out of it, stepped forward, and affectionately took Kurenai's arm.

"But... Ms. Kurenai, why are you dressed up so beautifully today?"

Hinata asked curiously.

"I always look like this."

Kurenai lifted her chin with a little huff, then turned to Shino and Kiba.

"I have something to take care of today. You two can train on your own."

"Yes!"

Shino and Kiba nodded.

"Ms. Kurenai, isn't Hinata training with us either?"

Kiba asked, puzzled.

"Not today. I need to talk to Hinata about something too."

With that, Kurenai took Hinata's hand and led her away.

Watching them go, Shino and Kiba both looked envious.

"Shino, why are Hinata and Ms. Kurenai so close?"

"I'm jealous."

Hearing Kiba's question, Shino pushed up his sunglasses.

"Well, I think... Hinata's a girl, so she already has an advantage over us there."

"And she's a genius. She's so much stronger than we are, so it makes sense that Ms. Kurenai likes her more."

"Besides, Kiba, you spend all day with Red Dog..."

Shino turned as he spoke, only to find that there was no one around him anymore.

Walking down a street in Konoha, Hinata held Kurenai's hand and laughed.

Hinata and Kurenai called from the doorway.

"Coming!"

the door opened,

revealing Naruto Uzumaki's mischievously grinning face.

"Hinata? Kurenai?"

His eyes lit up when he saw the two of them.

Hinata was as gentle and adorable as ever.

And Kurenai looked especially radiant today.

Her fiery red lips and ruby-like eyes made her irresistible.

Naruto took Hinata's hand and led her inside.

"Kurenai, I missed you like crazy too!"
