Kazan used the Body Flicker Technique to appear beside Kakashi, grabbed him, and shot into the air.

Kakashi dangled like a chick in Kazan's grip, his dead-fish eyes utterly lifeless.

He remembered Kazan picking him up and slamming him into the ground.

Soon, they reached a Training Ground.

"Let's begin, Kakashi. Come at me with everything you've got."

Kakashi focused and swiftly formed Hand Seals.

A huge amount of Chakra gathered in his hand, throwing off arcs of lightning.

The next second—

"Chidori!"

Chirrr!

The sound was like a thousand birds crying at once. Kakashi gripped his right hand with his left, the lightning casting half his face into shadow.

But he wasn't finished.

"Lightning Release: Lightning Release Chakra Mode!"

Crackle!

An even stronger surge of Chakra burst from him. Lightning wrapped around his entire body, making him look formidable.

Then—

"Here I come, Kazan!"

Whoosh!

As the words left his mouth, Kakashi shot forward like a bolt of lightning.

He had always been fast, a ninja who excelled at high-speed combat.

Perhaps it had something to do with what he had inherited from White Fang.

Rumor had it that White Fang of Konoha ended his fights in the space of a breath.

A flash of silver, and an enemy's life was over.

Yet fast as Kakashi was, he was still too slow in Kazan's eyes.

Kazan sidestepped with ease. Chidori nearly brushed his clothes as it passed.

But Kakashi's attack wasn't over.

Swish! He drew a short blade with his free hand and slashed down at Kazan.

"Not bad. Looks like your Lightning Release Chakra Mode solves Chidori's problem nicely."
