With that, he tilted his head back and shot upward like a rocket, then sped toward the Land of Waves.

Hiruzen Sarutobi walked to the window as a sonic boom rolled down from the sky.

"He didn't even shatter the glass. Is something urgent?"

He shook his head and returned to his desk.

"Don't you dare die, Might Duy!"

His Observation Haki had already swept across all of Konoha, but he had found no trace of Might Duy.

Duy must have gone with the troops to the battlefield in the Land of Waves.

"You and your son are quite a pair of oddballs. I'm rather fond of you both!"

Crimson Lightning kept crashing down from the horizon as Kazan tore through the clouds.

With the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist ashore, tension on the Frontline rose sharply.

Konoha knew the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist had reached the battlefield, but no one had spotted them.

After Jiraiya and Danzo discussed it, they found no better option than tightening their defenses.

As it happened, Might Guy's team was chosen for the task.

Might Guy was now a Konoha Genin. Though he had yet to earn a promotion, he had already distinguished himself on the battlefield.

At least he did not have to kneel and beg the other members of a team for another chance, as his father, Might Duy, had.
