Kazan stood high in the sky, looking down at them.
Their clothing looked older than anything worn in this era, and they had the same Byakugan as the Hyuga Clan.
They were almost certainly descendants of Hamura Otsutsuki's line on the moon.
"Lord Kazan!"
Hyuga Hiashi and the others were startled.
They had already left Konoha's barrier, yet Kazan had still found them with his Observation Haki.
This was the Hyuga Clan's secret: a clan with the same Byakugan lineage lived on the moon. Not even the Hokage knew.

At almost the same moment, the lunar Otsutsuki noticed that the Nine-Tails was sealed inside Kazan.
"Take him away and imprison him on the moon."
"Right. Without the Nine-Tails, the Ten-Tails cannot be revived, and the seal our clan has guarded for generations cannot be broken. Take them away."
They spoke as though taking people to the moon and locking them up was already decided.
"Wait. We did not come to Earth to clash with its people!"
Some were aggressive, while others tried to stop them.
They appeared to belong to the two lunar Otsutsuki factions: the Branch Family and the Main Family.
In the future, their differences would prove impossible to reconcile. Civil war would erupt, and most of the lunar Otsutsuki would die.
Hyuga Hiashi stepped forward to intervene. "Please, calm down..."
"Don't worry, Hiashi. We won't hurt him. This is only to ensure our ancestor's seal remains intact."

Before Hyuga Hiashi could say more, they activated their Byakugan.
