Kabuto Yakushi could barely stay on his feet, let alone get any closer. And that strike was only the beginning.
As if venting every grievance it had ever held, the Nine-Tails hammered fist after fist toward the First atop the Wooden Golem.
Hashirama blocked the blows and asked, "Kazan, how is the village now? And what was that Third Shinobi World War you mentioned?"
"The Third Shinobi World War was exactly what it sounds like. The era of Shinobi Villages you created succeeded, but it also failed."
Kazan stood motionless atop the Nine-Tails' head.
"The fighting didn't stop when the Shinobi Villages were founded. Constant skirmishes simply became larger wars involving every village."
"Not long after you died, the First Shinobi World War broke out. Without you to keep them in check, the other Shinobi Villages coveted the Land of Fire's fertile territory and declared war on Konoha. Your brother, the Second Hokage, died in that war."
Hashirama Senju fell silent for a moment.
He had never expected that.
Of course, he had never believed that founding the Shinobi Villages would bring
