Inside the Mirror Dimension.
Ren stopped defending and took the offensive.
More than a hundred scarlet Magic chains erupted from behind him, lashing toward Kaecilius in a relentless storm.
Clang! Clang! Clang!
Kaecilius was driven back again and again. The black Space Blade in his hand blurred as he desperately parried the blood-red chains stabbing at him from every direction.
But Ren's attacks came too fast and thick.
Empowered by their massive boost, the Scarlet Chains were not only as hard as titanium alloy; they also carried terrifying piercing force and divine power that cut through anything.
Thud! Thud!
A few sickening, muffled impacts rang out.
Kaecilius's defense finally slipped. Several sharp, blood-red chains punched mercilessly through his body, leaving gaping holes straight through him.
The Ancient One watched from nearby.
She had gripped her folding fan so tightly that its ribs were close to snapping. Several distinct cracks had already appeared in its wooden handle.
The Ancient One drew a deep breath and forced down her shock.
It was hardly her first time seeing Ren fight.
Yet every time, he found a new way to frighten her.
He had turned a support Magic meant to bind people into a barrage of piercing strikes like heavy machine-gun fire. It overturned centuries of Magic theory at Kamar-Taj.
The Ancient One watched Ren unleash his power and shook her head helplessly.
Compared with a freak who ignored every rule,
she suddenly felt as though her centuries of Magic practice had been for nothing. Perhaps she really was getting old.
And yet,
even under Ren's ferocious assault,
Kaecilius stood there with several holes through his body as though nothing had happened.
More precisely,
he did not care how badly he was hurt!
The holes Ren had left in him
vanished the next instant.
