The ground trembled violently, and bottomless cracks raced through the streets.

Before countless terrified eyes, the sprawling city, covering thousands of square kilometers, tore free of the earth's crust and slowly rose into the sky!

He turned to the red-and-gold armor and demanded, "Stark, how long before this damn city falls?"

Tony's faceplate flipped open. His face was grim, and sweat covered his forehead.

"The engines are climbing at full power, way past their limits."

"Five minutes at most before the core engine shuts down completely."

"Then this city will fall at a terrifying speed of over a hundred kilometers per second!"

Tony's voice shook. Those were the hopeless figures JARVIS had just calculated for him.

Once the city hit the ground, they were all finished.

"We can't let
