Team 7 vs. the Four-Tails!

Tsunade's expression darkened. Anyone who could subdue the ANBU serving as her Hokage guards so quickly

was no pushover.

She was already beginning to regret sending Aogetsu Hyuga away.

Was this a diversion?

Why was Takigakure working so closely with the Akatsuki? Or had Takigakure fallen too?

While Tsunade's mind raced,

Deva Path Pain offered her a pointed reminder:

Elsewhere, the hundred meters surrounding the Four-Tails had become scorched earth.

The ninja hurled Kunai and Shuriken at the Four-Tails, but none of them hurt it.

The Four-Tails opened its mouth.

Again,

a hail of molten rock poured out.

Several explosions thundered, and a handful of Konoha Ninja died on the spot.

Just then,

the Jonin still in the village

rushed to the battlefield.

At the front

were Anko and Ibiki Morino.

Anko

thrust out both hands.

"Secret Technique: Shadow Giant Snake Hands!"

Her hands became two giant pythons.

They were enormous snakes,

but they looked small beside the Four-Tails.

Their crushing strength made up for it, though, and they briefly restrained the beast.

Ibiki Morino formed Hand Seals.

"Summoning Technique!"

"Lucky Cat!"

A massive Lucky Cat rose from the ground

and dropped over the Four-Tails, trapping it.

Then

huge chains appeared, wrapped around the Lucky Cat, and dragged it underground.

Ibiki's eyes lit up.

"Did it work?!"

But

a moment later,

the Lucky Cat shuddered.

Several large holes suddenly opened in its body,

and blazing magma poured through them!

Hiss! Hiss!

The magma melted the enormous Lucky Cat outright. The Four-Tails had broken through Ibiki's restraint in an instant!

Anko looked stunned too. She tried to attack again,
