Minato Namikaze suddenly looked toward Aogetsu Hyuga:

"Aogetsu! What do you mean by that?!"

"What do I mean?"

"Hiruzen Sarutobi, Shimura Danzō, and those two damn Elders..."

"Do you really think you can rest easy after entrusting Naruto to them?"

Aogetsu Hyuga stood up straight away,

and spoke those words in the calmest possible tone.

Hearing this,

Minato Namikaze's expression shifted from anger to guilt.

Did he know what those people in power were really like?

Of course he did.

How could he not, when he was the Hokage?

Aogetsu Hyuga gave him an inscrutable smile:

"Let me put it this way. If I were Naruto..."

"Konoha would already be destroyed!!!"

Listening to Aogetsu Hyuga,

even though Minato Namikaze had a thousand things to say,

in the end,

he swallowed them all.

That was right.

It seemed

he truly had no right to say anything to Naruto.

Tears filled Naruto's eyes as he raised his fist and punched Minato Namikaze in the face again.

Then he continued pinning him to the ground and beating him for a full half-minute.

Minato Namikaze had obediently taken the beating, but suddenly felt a warmth on his face.

It was Naruto's tears dripping onto him.

"Naruto... I'm sorry..."

Minato pulled Naruto into his arms.

He kept repeating the words "I'm sorry" over and over.

Naruto hugged Minato Namikaze tightly as well, like a spoiled child.

Watching this scene, Aogetsu Hyuga couldn't help recalling his previous life.

In his previous life, he had been rather dissatisfied with the scene where Naruto first met Minato Namikaze.

Minato had offered only a lighthearted word of comfort,

then said that the Third Hokage had his own difficulties. It had all been complete bullshit.

But the
