As he spoke, Zetsu's liquid-like body began to writhe, as though he were trying to expel something.
Aogetsu Hyuga grew curious. He had never seen Zetsu reveal a trump card in the story of his previous life.
After a moment's thought, he figured Zetsu had prepared it as a safeguard against him, the unpredictable variable.
Aogetsu Hyuga rested his chin on his hand and watched Zetsu.
Zetsu slowly spat out a bead. It began to give off an eerie glow.
Aogetsu Hyuga sensed a dense malice within it, as though the bead held all the evil thoughts of humanity.
The glow suddenly grew blinding. Then a mask emerged from the bead.
It was a white mask with the character for "zero" written on it.
"Come forth! Zero-Tails, the Hollow!"
Thick black tendrils surged out of the bead at Zetsu's low, rasping command.
"Zero-Tails? That thing is your trump card?" Aogetsu Hyuga raised an eyebrow.
He had seen the movie. Despite the "tails" in its name, Zero-Tails had not been particularly impressive.
Naruto had simply pumped Chakra into it until it burst and died.
Of all the movie villains, it had met one of the most absurd ends.
And that was Zetsu's trump card?
Zetsu had grown used to Aogetsu Hyuga seeming to know everything. He said evenly:
"Of course it isn't that simple. I made a few minor modifications to Zero-Tails..."
The next instant, a vast amount of Chakra erupted from Zero-Tails.
Aogetsu Hyuga took a moment to sense it. Even he could not help commenting:
"What a hodgepodge..."
He had to rethink his opinion of Zetsu.
He had thought that if Zetsu had spent his thousands of years training or preparing some world-ending weapon, his plan to rescue his mother might have succeeded long ago.
