Thunder rumbled incessantly. The azure lightning in the massive hand of Sasuke's Susanoo had deepened in color and was now turning black.

Moments later, Sasuke slowly absorbed the lightning from the storm clouds spanning hundreds of miles.

Thunder roared. The deep glow of the lightning shone like a dazzling black sun.

Sasuke drew a deep breath, his eyes shifting rapidly.

Pitch-black flames slowly enveloped the lightning in his right hand.

He only stopped once the visual power in both eyes had been exhausted.

"Naruto! This is my final attack. I hope you don't die from it!"

Naruto closed his eyes, then opened them, activating Sage Fox Mode.

Two enormous hands of golden chakra spread wide, and a gigantic Tailed Beast Bomb Rasenshuriken appeared before him.

The black lightning distorted space. Ripples flowed through the Rinnegan in Sasuke's right eye as he shaped it into an arrow of black lightning.

A great bow appeared out of thin air before the arrow.

Not to be outdone, Naruto formed a massive Tailed Beast Bomb Rasengan that resembled a small full moon, spanning over three meters.

Both unleashed their final attacks at the same moment.

"Blaze Release! Heavenly Thunder Arrow!"

"Wind Release! Tailed Beast Bomb Shuriken!"

A streak of black light and a purple sphere of energy hurtled toward each other, their power making space tremble.

As soon as they released their attacks, both reverted to their ordinary forms and fell from the sky.

Their final strikes had left them unable to sustain those powerful modes any longer.

The arrow and the purple energy sphere collided in midair.

A roar erupted as though Mars had crashed into Earth.

A purple dome of energy once again filled heaven and earth.
