High in the sky, Thousand Blades noticed that Love seemed distracted.
Her flight path was unusually straight. Normally, she would drift from side to side now and then, looking utterly carefree.
Love blinked, then came back to herself.

"I'm Dawn Rank too, but shouldn't someone more experienced be put in charge of a place like the Northern Capital?"
"They said my abilities are enough to make up for two people..."

Thousand Blades couldn't understand why Love saw a problem. As far as she was concerned, Love really was that capable.
"Are you nervous?"
"Nervous? Something like this wouldn't make me nervous!"
Love puffed out her cheeks.
It was their first official day on the job.
Why not yesterday? Hadn't they received the messenger's notice then?
