Whenever that happened, Lin Mo thought of Enel and Kaku. If only those two were here.
[Heh...]
That day, Lin Mo made a full circuit of Klaudo, stopping at every tavern and convenience store.
He wasn't particularly fond of fruit wine, but he didn't hate it either. At least the fruit wine here tasted better to him than Sky Island's.
That night, he returned to Cat Viper's territory.
Kaku and Enel were both stunned to see the huge bag he had brought back.
Enel recovered first. Pointing at the bag in Lin Mo's hand, he turned to Kaku with an I-told-you-so look and shouted, "See? See? The captain does it too, and you still have the nerve to say I buy too much stuff?"
Kaku: "..."
"I didn't spend any money." Lin Mo tossed the bag to Enel. "People gave it to me."
Enel caught it on reflex and said skeptically, "Oh, come on. You think you can fool the Thunder God?"
Lin Mo raised a hand to hit Enel, but if he sent him flying, the things he had just handed over might scatter everywhere. After a moment's thought, he lowered his hand.
Enel had been about to dodge the moment Lin Mo raised his hand. When he saw him lower it again, he said smugly, "Not bad. You've finally found your conscience."
"You and that mouth of yours." Kaku planted a kick on Enel's leg.
Enel stumbled and nearly fell.
"Bastard! You dare kick me?" Enel moved to hit Kaku.
Kaku waved him off. "I believe the captain. Besides, it's rare for him to feel like going out shopping. So what if he did buy all this?"
"You..." Enel's mouth twitched. "You spoil him way too much! You're the reason he has such a rotten temper!"
Kaku laughed.
