Lin Mo asked in confusion, "Is getting my recognition that important?"
Kuina immediately replied, "Of course it is! Whatever the outcome, I hope you'll take my challenge seriously."
After a moment of silence, Lin Mo left Sandai Kitetsu untouched and drew Toyako instead. "All right. I'll grant your wish," he said calmly.
A flash of delight crossed Kuina's face when Lin Mo agreed. She tightened her grip on her sword and declared with vigor, "Here I come, Lin Mo! Take this!"
Then Kuina charged straight at Lin Mo, unleashing attack after attack with a do-or-die resolve.
Enel and Kaku returned to the Inkman first and leaned against the railing to watch.
Every strike Kuina delivered carried tremendous force and killing intent, fiercer and faster than her attacks beside Magnetic Lake.
Without the black magnetic stones affecting her, her swordsmanship had indeed risen a whole level.
But to Lin Mo, it was still nowhere near enough.
After defending against a series of attacks, Lin Mo's hand felt slightly numb from Kuina's monstrous strength. After blocking for the umpteenth time, his expression shifted. He immediately went from defense to offense, swinging even faster and slamming the flat of Toyako against Kuina's back, sending her flying.
After crashing into a distant tree and knocking it down, Kuina scrambled up looking rather battered. Defiance filled her eyes. She casually wiped the dirt from her face, tightened her grip on her sword, and charged at Lin Mo again.
She was knocked down several times over, but even covered in wounds, Kuina refused to admit defeat. As long as she could still stand, she would keep attacking.
