Kuina gritted her teeth. "Give it back!"
Sendou laughed. "What makes you think you can take something this good back from me when you can only draw two swords? You couldn't get it back even if you died trying. In the end, you're just too weak. You can't even protect yourself, so how could you take back your weapon or protect your companions? You're nothing but dead weight on your team."
Sendou's words hurt Kuina deeply, but they were true.
She was indeed the weakest person aboard the ship. If anything happened, she would definitely be a burden.
Of course she refused to accept that. Ever since she was little, she had been strong-willed and hated losing.
Seeing that Kuina no longer argued, Sendou closed the Eight Desolations Sword Case and tossed it back to her.
Kuina immediately caught it, confusion filling her eyes.
Sendou tilted his head and continued, "Look at your companions."
Kuina turned her gaze toward Kaku and Enel.
Both of them had collapsed on the ground, utterly drained. Their bodies were covered in clusters of tiny red spots, as though they had contracted some particularly severe disease.
"Kaku! Enel!" Kuina's expression changed drastically, and she immediately rushed toward them.
Sendou said unhurriedly, "You'd better stay away from them. They've contracted a plague. You'll catch it too if you get close."
But Kuina paid no attention to Sendou's warning and insisted on rushing over to Kaku and Enel.
When Kaku saw Kuina approaching, he immediately shouted, "Stay back!"
Kuina ignored him entirely. Without caring that she could catch the plague herself, she pulled Kaku and Enel off the ground, hoisted them onto her shoulders, and headed straight toward the Inkman.
Kuina did not know where Lin Mo was. For now, the only way she could think of
