Then he gave Lin Mo a look, signaling that he could leave.

With practiced ease, Lin Mo casually slipped the Wooden Sword diagonally into his belt and secured it.

Monica waved a hand. "It's just a lousy wooden sword. Take it, take it."

Lin Mo gave her a slight nod of thanks, then left Monica's room.

Jahi followed Lin Mo back to the cell where he would be staying.

By then, the prisoners who had taken a beating had almost finished cleaning the cell.

Though it looked much cleaner than before, the corners were still a little dirty.

But at least it was fit to live in now.

Even if he still found it rather disgusting...

Jahi chased out the men working for Lin Mo, then briefly explained the daily schedule Monica had set for the prisoners. Since Lin Mo did not belong to any faction yet, he had the right not to follow her schedule.

"You'll be living here from now on. If anything comes up, you can come find me anytime. I'm in room 201 on the second floor of the next prison building." With that, Jahi left.

Lin Mo straightened the bedding a little, then sat alone on the bed for a short while, carefully examining the Wooden Sword he had gotten from Monica.

He kept feeling that something was missing, but he could not say what.
