Red-Hair waved a hand and laughed. "Well, that settles it. Beckman, pay up."
Beckman chuckled. "I didn't bring much money. You two can stay here and work off the debt."
"Huh?" Red-Hair couldn't help complaining. "I'm your captain, aren't I? How can you make your captain work in someone else's shop?"
Shyarly thought Beckman's idea was rather good. "If you really don't have the money, I can let you work here. With your reputations out in the world, you two should bring me plenty of business."
The mention of working gave Lin Mo an idea. "I don't mind paying, but I have a condition."
Amused, Red-Hair asked, "What condition could you possibly have? Could it be worse than staying here to work in the cafe?"
Lin Mo continued, "Once we find my crew, you'll work on my ship."
Red-Hair froze, then burst out laughing. "Hahaha! You're a shrewd little brat. Even if I agreed, do you think my crew would?"
Beckman rubbed salt in the wound. "I think it's fine. Go work for Lin Mo."
"Hey, Beckman," Red-Hair asked, torn between laughter and tears, "whose side are you on?"
Beckman said nonchalantly, "Whoever's in the right."
"Fine. That's what I get for being so easygoing," Red-Hair said helplessly. "Lin Mo, you've got more pull than I do... All right, enough messing around."
As he spoke, Red-Hair turned to Shyarly with a toothy grin. "Madame Shyarly, since you're here, do us a favor."
Holding her pipe, Shyarly chuckled. "You caused trouble in my shop, and now you want my help?"
Red-Hair waved a hand and laughed. "We didn't do it on purpose. Charge all the damages to this brat. He's got money."
Shyarly glanced at Lin Mo. After a moment of silence, she continued, "What do you want me to help
