After leaving Dragon's office, Sabo ran into Lin MuMu, who was about to head out for a stroll, on his way to the training grounds behind the base.
When their eyes met, both fell silent for a few seconds.
Then Lin MuMu waved and laughed cheerfully. "What a coincidence! Hahaha."
Sabo smiled and kept walking, asking as he went, "Are you free right now?"
Lin MuMu shrugged. "More or less. It's too stuffy indoors, so I'm going out for a walk."
Then Sabo extended an invitation. "If you have nothing to do, come to the training grounds with me."
Lin MuMu waved him off with a smile. "What would I do at the training grounds? You go ahead."
"It's fine. Come along," Sabo said with a smile. "I'm going to help the kids at the base practice Taijutsu. I can give you some pointers while I'm at it."
"Huh? Pointers on what?"
"All kinds of fighting techniques." Sabo grinned. "Compared to Lin Mo, you're far too weak. If you run into a stronger opponent, you won't even be able to protect yourself. Learning more fighting techniques will do you good."
"Ugh... but I don't want to..." Before Lin MuMu could finish, Sabo was already pushing her toward the training grounds.
Koala was a little surprised to see Sabo and Lin MuMu arrive together.
Then, deeply unwilling, Lin MuMu joined a group of children and was forced by Sabo to begin training in all kinds of basic exercises.
Every day after that, Lin MuMu's life became quite regimented. Apart from time spent eating and sleeping, whenever she was free, Sabo and Koala would drag her off to get some exercise.
When Sabo and Koala went out on missions, other instructors would remind her to train on schedule.
