Ace and Marco were still on their way to Baterilla Island.
They were almost there. One moment, Ace was flying over the sea, his body half-turned to flame. The next, his vision went black, his flames went out, and he dropped straight down.
Luckily, Marco reacted fast and caught him, saving Ace from falling into the sea.
"Ace? What's wrong?" Marco brought him to the shore of Baterilla Island and patted his face. "Did you fall asleep? Wake up, it's time to eat. If you don't hurry, I'll eat all the meat and drink all the wine."
Ace had fallen asleep out of nowhere before. He often nodded off halfway through a meal, so Marco hadn't thought anything was wrong at first.

Ace scratched his head. "I was almost at Baterilla Island. Oh well, since I'm here, I might as well enjoy the rare chance to explore. This place isn't quite what I imagined."
Ace looked around at the devastated woods and rubbed his chin. "Did you just have a big fight here?"
